Customer Review: Great Shave
I went to “wet shaving” about three years ago, using cake soap. Then a couple of month back I decided to try this Poraso cream. Man what a difference!! I put a small amount in a bowl, lather it up with a brush, and apply. I not only get a smoother shave, but it doesn’t clog up the razor like the cake soap did.

I’m hooked! No going back now.
Customer Review: Much better than my shaving soaps
I’ve only used that Captain Conk? or whatever its named bay rum and also Walmart cheap shaving soap. I bought this and it has made a huge difference. For a little insight, I have a Parker 91r. I’ve been working my butt off for the past half week and haven’t shaved. I had the beginning of a beard forming. I should have used a trimmer before shaving, but I just went at it. It was a breeze using this stuff. In my personal experience, made my skin number, more of a cooling feel which help my face feel better and seems to help numbed it, had alot more protection to my skin than either soaps I’ve tried, had a good smell, and will last forever. My only problem was that it dries out more quickly. On another note though, I did not expect so little to go so far. I put out what I would normally put out for my toothbrush when brushing my teeth.. wrong. About each pea size amount offers roughly one full cover on your face. I roughly had enough cream whipped up for 3 or 4 passes. It also produces very good lather. Leave it to the Italians for great quality products. As long as I have the money to afford $[...] tubes, I will purchase them. I imagine one tube will last me 1-2 months considering I usually do only one pass unless I’m trying to impress. I have only tried the 2 soaps and this. Besides that factor, I highly suggest this. Oh, and the only reason I didn’t rate it 5 is because I believe not much is perfect.

I just finished my first tub of the lavender after about 8 months of daily use. I went for a couple of months with the brush and then lost it on a trip. This cream is very nice, absolutely nothing like the shaving ‘creams’ that come in a pressurized can. I’ve used this with a safety razor, a Gillette sensor, and a panasonic electric. It works well with all.
With my extremely course and thick beard I eventually settled on the cream with the electric, after a shower.
I keep meaning to buy another brush, as it makes a noticeable difference. Though this time I might not go for the top-of-the-line.
The only reason I don’t give this a 5 is that while it worked great and the scent is nice (quite faint after drying off) I really wish they hadn’t colored it. There’s just no reason to do so.
Well, I’m off to buy a second tub…
Customer Review: Not worth the price
This is not a bad product. In my opinion it about half as good as Proraso but makes up for it by being twice as expensive. I originally ordered Geo. Trumper but received this instead. I will continue to buy from Sesto-Senso but not this product.

Customer Review: Great shaving cream, wonderful scent
I have been using Taylor of Old Bond Street creams for about 4 years now and love the way they lather and shave! I usually use a brush but even just lathering up in the palm of my hand with my fingers this cream works wonderfully–far better than the mass-market gels and creams you buy at the grocery store.

This is, by far, my favorite scent Taylor offers, it makes my mornings so much more enjoyable!
